CANINE BRUCELLOSIS TESTING IN DOGS AT HOME:
Testing your dog at home for Canine Brucellosis is very simple. First, collect your pet’s blood sample (syringes are NOT included in the test). Then you can either centrifuge the collected blood to separate serum from plasma, or use the whole blood as a testing sample. After you have obtained the sample, just follow the included instructions. From the moment you obtain the sample, the test takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. If you are planning to use serum or plasma, you will need a centrifuge. You will only need 1 drop of the sample to run the test. HOW DOES A-PET-CARE ONE STEP CANINE BRUCELLOSIS TEST FOR DOGS WORK:
A-PET-CARE One Step Canine Brucellosis test for dogs is an Antibody Rapid Test based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow along the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated Brucella LPS antigens. If there are any anti-Brucella antibodies present in the specimen, a visible T (test) line will appear. Keep in mind, the C (control) line should always appear after a sample is applied. This means, the testing device accurately indicates the presence or absence of Brucella Canis antigen in the sample.
Results are ready in 5-10 minutes.
