Close the tube and shake well to mix. - Apply the sample to the test cassette: Open the tube and use the enclosed wide-tip 40-μL dropper to place 3 drops into the S (sample) window on the cassette.
- Wait 5–10 minutes and read the results.
The test is valid for 10 months or longer from the date of purchase.

Ehrlichiosis is a serious tick-borne disease in dogs, primarily transmitted by the brown dog tick.
The disease is caused by Ehrlichia canis (E. canis), a type of rickettsial bacteria, though other strains can occasionally be involved.
Infected dogs typically develop symptoms 1–3 weeks after a tick bite, including lethargy, loss of appetite, lameness, fever, joint pain, anemia, bleeding disorders, and eye inflammation. In severe cases, ehrlichiosis can lead to life-threatening complications.
Dogs cannot directly transmit the disease to humans, but infected ticks can spread it to people.

HOW DOES A-PET-CARE EHRLICHIA RAPID TEST FOR DOGS WORK:
A-PET-CARE One Step for Ehrlichia Antibody Rapid Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test cassette has a testing window with an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone. When the treated sample is applied into the sample (S) hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip. If there are Ehrlichia antibodies in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. This means, the device can accurately indicate the presence or absence of E.Canis antibodies in the sample.
Results are ready in 5-10 minutes.
