HOW TO TEST YOUR DOG OR CAT FOR GIARDIA AT HOME:
Checking your dog or cat at home for Giardia parasite (Giardiasis) is very simple. Just collect fresh feces or vomit sample of your pet with the included swab stick. Then follow the included instructions. From the moment you obtain the sample, the test takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. All the necessary equipment is included. HOW DOES A-PET-CARE GIARDIA RAPID TEST FOR DOGS AND CATS WORK:
A-PET-CARE Giardia test for dogs and cats is an antigen test and is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow on the surface of the test strip. If there is enough Giardia antigen in the sample, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result. Meaning, the testing device can accurately indicate the presence or absence of Giardia antigen in the sample.
Results are ready in 5-10 minutes.
