This dog Brucella test works with blood and requires dog’s serum, plasma or whole blood sample.

The Canine Brucellosis test kit for dogs can be used with or without a centrifuge.
A-PET-CARE rapid home Brucellosis test kit DOES NOT INCLUDE any blood collection equipment (syringes).
If you are using whole blood as a sample you will only need a syringe. If you are planning to use serum or plasma, you will need a syringe and a centrifuge.

 

HOW TO TEST YOUR DOG FOR BRUCELLOSIS AT HOME:
Checking your dog at home for Brucella is very simple. Just collect your dog’s blood sample, then follow the included instructions. From the moment you obtain the sample, the Brucellosis test takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. Don’t forget to purchase a syringe before running the test, syringes are NOT INCLUDED in the test kit. If you are planning to use serum or plasma, you will need a syringe and a centrifuge. After you perform the test, the results are available at place in 10 min. This is an ‘at-home’ test, no need to send it out to the lab.

HOW DOES A-PET-CARE LYME DISEASE RAPID TEST FOR DOGS WORK:
A-PET-CARE Canine Brucella test for dogs is an Antibody Rapid Test based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow along the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated Brucella LPS antigens. If there are any anti-Brucella antibodies present in the specimen, a visible T (test) line will appear. Keep in mind, the C (control) line should always appear after a sample is applied, and its appearance indicates a valid result.

Results are ready in 5-10 minutes.
